Letters to the editor

Coddling illegal aliens

Sara Carter's article "Support builds for agent who gained plea data" (Nation, yesterday) was very thorough and well-written. It's clear that we are no longer a nation of law and order. Our culture has given way to the corrupt policies and procedures of Third-World nations.

Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter Jr. speaks volumes when he charges illegal aliens with misdemeanor agricultural trespass.

By giving illegal aliens "a break," our local district attorneys have secretly fertilized this horrible situation — signing an unwritten oath to grant sympathetic privileges to illegal-alien criminals. In this law-breaking process, these "serve and protect" officers of the court bend over backward to aid and abet one group at the expense of the electoral majority of taxpaying citizens.

Meanwhile, thousands of U.S. residents die or are maimed needlessly every year at the hands of illegal alien criminals, and millions of their family members and friends mourn and grieve while their nation and the corrupt media ignore them. Cory Voorhis, the other victims and these grieving folks deserve better from all of us.
