Miley mum on pics

Miley Cyrus returned to the stage for a concert in Orlando, Fla., but did not say anything about the recent controversy over her Vanity Fair portrait.

According to Associated Press, the 15-year-old star of “Hannah Montana” performed several songs at the Saturday concert that will be included in the Disney Channel Games series.

Miley didn’t attend Friday’s red-carpet party for the games at Disney’s Epcot Center, where she would have faced questions from the media. She has said she was embarrassed by the photo, which shows her wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed.

She spotted a sign in the crowd Saturday that said, “Miley I’m praying for you,” and she responded: “I can’t be more appreciative of that.”

Saturday’s concert also featured performances by the Jonas Brothers and the Cheetah Girls.

Popped for DUI

TMZ.com reports that Angie Everhart has been charged with one count of driving under the influence after being stopped in Los Angeles last week for running a stop sign.

The actress refused a sobriety test, thus mandating an automatic suspension of her license, says the Philadelphia Daily News.

On May 15, she’ll appear in front of Judge Michael Sauer, the jurist who presided over Paris Hilton’s DUI trial.

Miss Everhart is also rumored to be engaged to Joe Pesci — so we wonder: Will “My Cousin Vinny” represent her in court?

Winehouse out

Producer Mark Ronson says he and Amy Winehouse have abandoned plans to record the theme to the latest James Bond film because the singer is not ready to work, accesshollywood.com says, citing a report from AP.

Mr. Ronson, who produced much of Miss Winehouse’s Grammy-winning “Back to Black” CD, says the singer is “not ready to record any music.” He made the comments in an interview with Sky News on Friday.

Mr. Ronson says the two started work on the track for the upcoming Bond movie, “Quantum of Solace,” but he says it would take “some miracle of science” to finish it.

Miss Winehouse’s troubles with drugs and the police and her rocky romance with her jailed husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have kept her in the spotlight.

Police recently gave her a formal warning after she scuffled with two men during a raucous night out a few weeks back.

Forrest Gump stumps

Tom Hanks wants Barack Obama to be president, and that could be one of the most effective celebrity endorsements so far, TMZ.com says.

The two-time Oscar winner put a homemade video on his MySpace page that begins with him saying, “I’m Tom Hanks, and I want Barack Obama to be the next president of our country. As an official celebrity, I know my endorsement has just made your mind up for you.”

Mr. Hanks then gets serious, acknowledging that all the candidates have made missteps and associated with the wrong people — including relatives.
