Lehigh Valley 2, Columbus 1: Yurendell de Caster (.293) went 2-for-3 with a home run, but the visiting Clippers lost despite allowing only two hits. Columbus starter Steven Shell (1-1, 3.10) allowed two runs (none earned) on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Harrisburg 9, Erie 0: Cory VanAllen (2-0, 0.71) pitched seven shutout innings to win for the visiting Senators. He allowed two hits and two walks while striking out eight. Devin Ivany (.286) and Justin Maxwell (.233) each homered.

Kinston 3, Potomac 1: Craig Stammen (0-1, 1.67) gave up just one run in six innings but took the loss for the Nationals.



Hagerstown 9-4, West Virginia 0-5: The Suns’ Erik Arnesen (2-0, 4.30) pitched four scoreless innings to win a road game that had been suspended in the third inning Friday night. In Hagerstown’s loss in the regularly scheduled game, Boomer Whiting (.421) went 2-for-4 with a home run.
