ADVERTISING, MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS

Joe Reblando was named vice president in the D.C. office of Ruder Finn Inc., a New York public relations firm. Mr. Reblando previously worked as a director in the policy and research department of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, a D.C. trade group.

Amber McCracken was named vice president in Ruder Finn’s D.C. office. She previously served as director of communications for the National Women’s Health Resource Center, a D.C. nonprofit organization.



ASSOCIATIONS, GOVERNMENT & NONPROFITS

Denise Aranoff-Brown was named senior director of marketing at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, a nonprofit organization. She previously worked as vice president of marketing services at Chevy Chase Bank in Bethesda.

Andres Martinez was named director of the Bernard Schwartz Fellows Program, a D.C. think tank that supports public policy scholars. Mr. Martinez was editorial page editor of the Los Angeles Times.

FINANCE

Shane Campbell was named an associate in the Tysons Corner office of Goodman & Company, a Norfolk accounting firm. He previously worked as a customer relationship management consultant for several accounting firms in the area. Goodman & Company also named Nancy Guerra a business specialist in its Rockville office. She has a background in real estate escrow accounting.

HIGH TECHNOLOGY & TELECOMMUNICATIONS

• Vangent Inc., an Arlington information technology company, named Brad Cutsinger vice president for defense and national security programs. Mr. Cutsinger previously worked for SAIC, a technology researching company, where he directed major defense and intelligence contracts.

Giovanna Patterson was named senior vice president of business development at Vangent Inc. She previously worked as vice president and business development director of the global health sector for SRA International Inc., a Fairfax technology consulting company.

LEGAL

Matt Morley was named partner in the D.C. office of law firm Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP. Mr. Morley previously worked as co-managing partner of the D.C. office of Shrive & Jacobson LLP, a New York law firm.

Robert Battista joined the D.C. office of Littler Mendelson, a San Francisco law firm. Mr. Battista, who will work in the firm’s labor management relations practice group, was chairman of the National Labor Relations Board, the federal agency responsible for investigating unfair labor practices.

REAL ESTATE

Mission Residential Management of Oakton added four executives.

Michael J. Zink was named senior vice president for property management. He previously worked for CRS, a Chicago provider of rental and management services.

Cecille Santos was named vice president for marketing and training. She joined Mission from Kettler Management in McLean.

Denise Johnson joined Mission as a vice president after 12 years with Capreit of Rockville, where she was an assistant vice president overseeing 5,400 apartment homes in eight states.

Thomas Casey was named vice president for maintenance services. He previously served as vice president and national service manager at Capreit.

Roger Potter was named lead pastry chef at the Source, a D.C. restaurant. Mr. Potter was pastry chef for Rock Creek at Mazza, a D.C. restaurant.
