"Just to cover up the fact that I was: snorting cocaine during my formative years and developing a persona that, other than the tragic slaughter of the innocent unborn, was totally devoid of principle and allowed me to adroitly flex with the prevailing political winds, in contrast to John McCain who sculpted his character while being tortured as a POW in Hanoi; cavorting with treasonous elements who had blown up U.S. Government buildings; attempting to undermine our military members while they were engaged in combat; and, contributing to fanatics who were condemning America under the guise of religion; I PERSONALLY will not question the patriotism of my opponent; but, you can anticipate a steady stream of my surrogates, such as professional front-man Wesley Clark who was relieved of his military command for reasons of integrity, that I will dispatch to slime my opponent's patriotism on my behalf. I'm sure that you will support me in this most noble of endeavors." Commentary that would be given by Barrack Obama to his left-wing supporters in San Francisco if he was assured that small town folks clinging to their religion were prohibited from recording his comments. I am a former Marine and you have every right to say that my service in the Corps does not qualify me to be President. You would be correct also. I would not take your remarks as a criticism of my patriotism. Wesley Clark did not say McCain lacked patriotism but that his military service does not mean he is qualified to be commander in chief. He is correct when discussing Senator McCain and he can throw my name in the hopper also as a person who is not qualified to lead the country, although I was qualified as an expert rifleman. Which might give me a way to snipe back at my critics more than most presidents.

As much as will appreciate Barcak's and Michelle choices of restaurants, movies and Flower shops, I would much ,more appreciate a through vetting of candidate Obama who recently seems to have gone from a New type of politician to a vacillating old fashioned politico changinmg gears at every turn.

I can't believe this Obama character has bamboozled so many people in such a short time. Utterly amazing. http://obomonation.blogspot.com

we must stop this distracting drivel of looking microscopically at the teensyist of things about either candidate..... how does this help with greater understanding? It is just a diversion from the very hard work of figuring out how to move forward for the greater good.

The headline says that journalists are going to record Obama's every step. Are you kidding? The press will "record" nothing that is anti-Obama.. Obama voted against a bill that would have prevented the killing of babies that survive late-term abortions. These are babies are left to dies on hospital beds and could have lead meaningful lives. No one has ever really called him on this. Obama has more recently said that if his daughter got pregnant he would not want her "punished" with a baby...... That's his own grandchild he would see killed. I certainly don't want this guy setting an example for my grandchildren.

Question of the day

Supporters say Sarah Palin scored in her Tea Party appearance, while critics are having a field day with Mrs. Palin's "hand-o-prompter" (the notes she scribbled on her palm). Who is right?
