This is a superlative monograph on Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) and Palin Derangement Syndrome (PDS), both being sub-categories of Liberal Thought Disorder (LTD). While the formal diagnostic criteria for LTD are still being formulated, Breitbart’s seminal treatise greatly advances knowledge of this category of thought disorder. One looks forward to the day when effective treatment is available to the many afflicted and otherwise productive members of society. However, before a cure can be properly crafted, accurate diagnosis is required. Breitbart’s contribution to this effort cannot be overly praised.

Savage is right. Liberalism is a mental disorder. I asked a liberal friend who generally is even keeled why liberals HATE Sarah Palin. His whole body quaked and his face tightened up with anger. It was unbelievable to see. He had no specific reason other than that she was a Republican.

SPLENDID analysis, Mr. Breitbart, and thank you for it. How dare a congenial, principled woman who didn't rise to power on the back of an unprincipled president run for vice president! I'm the rare conservative at a university littered by liberals looking for me and other conservatives to reach into our wallets for disaster relief, etc., while they continue eating their sushi and complaining about GWB! Just one look at the third most liberal senator, Biden, tells me all I need to know about these apoleptic libs. He averaged a little over $300 annually in charitable contributions for nine of the last ten years. What happened in the tenth year? Why, he upped it to a little over $900. Cynical me! He was planning a run for the presidency again and realized that folk like me might think that he is only generous with other people's money, not his. Yep, that's the liberal mentality, all right! It is what allows the CROOK RANGEL and like democrats to survive unscathed. Sixty thousand Floridians withstood the heat yesterday to hear Gov. Palin. As Florida goes, so goes the nation. With her as vice president, I have hope again that corruption can be swept out to sea, never to return to Washington, D.C.

The fact that they have PDS only means that Mccain made the right choice in picking her. I hope the "has been" celebrities continue with their inane attacks and the hacker is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Liberalism is a form of mental illness. It is basically a childlike mentality of freedom without consequences or responsibilities. Most teenagers go through this period and then grow out of it as they become adults and get a job and start paying taxes. It's funny and quite sad to see that some people never grow out of it.

Well, we need about another dozen of Andrew Breitbart...someone who tells it like it is, not how the Demos want it to be...and who isn't afraid of them, constantly bowing down and acting like they committed a major crime by having a conservative opinion...way to go!

Wow, this is a great piece, I especially enjoyed Mr Breitbart's line on unresolved teenage lust...it is SPOT ON not to mention I almost spit my coffee all over my keyboard when I burst into laughter.

Excellent analysis, sir! It has always amazed me that the people we would NEVER use as a roll model for our children (Lohan, Cho, Bernhard, to name but a few) always seem to insist that they, and only they, know what's best for us and our progeny. I would no more trust them with the care of my children than I would trust Charles Manson.

On the theme of PDS, and its source and inspiration within the Obama effort, please visit Jawa Report. Rusty has performed an outstanding investigative chore linking particularly onerous anti-Palin YouTube videos to Obama supporters - which have now (since outed) disappeared. http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/194057.php

Gov. Palin is pro-choice. Doubt me? Do you really think she would disagree with anything on this page? http://hubpages.com/hub/For-Women-Only----A-Pictorial-Journey-About-Choice

In this race, we've seen every kind of bigotry, courtesy of the Dems. We've had discrimination against religion with Romney ("He's too Mormon"), age discrimination against John McCain ("He's too old"), Sexism against both Hillary and mostly against Sarah Palin ("She's not a woman", "Pig",etc. see article), I say the Democrats need to balance things off with a little trip down memory lane to their DixieCrat roots and bring a little racism to the table. I mean they have engaged in every OTHER kind of bigotry---why leave racism out? Come on you Dems, you can do better! I want to hear you loud and clear from now to election day saying "Obama is TOO BLACK TO BE PRESIDENT!" Remember all those lynchings you Dems used to do? Get Robert Byrd to join in with some of his old KKK stuff! Maybe put on the old sheet and hood just one more time, for Old Tyme's Sake! I want to hear some fair and balanced cries of "B.O. is too black to be president!" and of "wanting to have hateful sex with him" or what about his "hubris" for wanting to be THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT? How dare he? Shouldn't he be picking cotton or eating watermelon back in Kenya? Or if he would go to Oshkosh he might be gang-raped, or whatever other bigotry you Democrats like to do.

Question of the day

Supporters say Sarah Palin scored in her Tea Party appearance, while critics are having a field day with Mrs. Palin's "hand-o-prompter" (the notes she scribbled on her palm). Who is right?
