OMG! I can't wait. But, who will play Joe Biden on SNL? This is going to be so f-ing funny! Thank you Sarah Palin! You are the gift that keeps on giving...to Democrats!

Biden is such a gaffe-master that the debate on Thursday night will probably be the largest viewed VP debate in history. People will tune in just to hear Biden fall over himself. Go Sarah, beat the crap out of Biden!

It's comforting to see the moveon.org fellow travelers rant and rave. It's also gratifying that these same rants and raves are the gift that keeps on giving-TO REPUBLICANS. I'm a little worried about stone73 though. Sounds like he has some repressed sexual hangups based on his TWT commentaries.

Let's settle this..how many here are involved with move.org? seems that anyone not to the right or religously finatic get tagged to it in these Times blogs. I am not one. Hey, "ya know", if McCain/Palin crazily get in, there is an upside. Laughing is healthy. We can be assured of 4 years of roaring comedy starting with the shotgun wedding at the White House...can we compare that with the elegance of the Charles/Diana wedding??...and it is not just SNL. the newscasters are laughing wildly as is the rest of the intelligent world. The republican candidates have made themselves caricatures with their silly antics and comments. Wasn't bush enuf?On the serious side, if they get in there will be a revolution in this country and maybe that is what we need to finally draw out the evils of discrimination and bring poorly GOP controlled financial, church/state issues to a head.

I'm in somewhat of a toss-up about seeing Palin. On the one hand, she is really funny to watch as she stumbles over questions and searches her mind for the bullet point responses she's been asked to memorize -- but on the other hand she is so absolutely awkward that you can't help squirm a little bit and feel awkward yourself ... and eventually feel bad for her. I've watched her in the Alaskan gubernatorial debates and she was pretty good. Now, Palin is clearly in over her head, and by not allowing her to talk to the press, they have completely knocked away any confidence she once had.

MG, The ballot box is not enough when you increase repression and push to implement laws that eliminate peoples rights. Anarchy will occur and should. Our history as a country is filled with it. We revolted at the Tea party. Native Americans fought to defend their land. We fought slavery? Scary things can happen when rights get denied like when Japanese Americans were thrown in camps during WW2.

I really hope that all th prognosticating does not make Biden tighten up and underperform. The GOP spin machine has been at work all week long. http://www.palinspin.com - exposing the dirt on Sarah Palin! http://www.obamamate.com - crowd powered news for the Barack Obama nation

Question of the day

Supporters say Sarah Palin scored in her Tea Party appearance, while critics are having a field day with Mrs. Palin's "hand-o-prompter" (the notes she scribbled on her palm). Who is right?
