The primary cause of global warming, as it has been for millions of years, is solar activity. Responsible studies have proven this time and again. Low solar activity lessens the effects, higher solar activity increases the effect. Readings on Mars from the past several years has proven this - unless our two Mars Rovers are causing man-made global warming there as well.

Global warming is just an excuse to force us to ramp down the American Economy so that poor nations can compete. Do we really need to send more jobs overseas? The American economy really doesn't need ramping down when we have a president and congress spending money we don't have which will do more than enough to ramp down our economy in the future.

GLOBAL WARMING??? Let’s just go back about thirty five years when the “scientists” were predicting a global cooling and a possible ice age. People believed it then, as it was a “scientific fact”. (snicker) People would be unable to cope and it would be human disaster. How short memory is, for now, we are subjected to the same “scientific data” to convince people that global warming is man made and disaster is imminent. Hey, I have a bridge for sale, anybody interested? …….. There is a saying; once fool on me, twice fool on you.

Yes, global warming is caused by human activity, along with millions of other factors, variation of solar activity being the greatest. I estimate that anthropogenic input affects, at most, 5% of any change that we have experienced in the last century. derekcrane

Global warming is caused by gas emissions from Al Gore's big mouth.

I love Vaclav Klaus. Other people, who believe in man-made global warming myth, are out-of-touch with the world around them, and were probably sleeping through all their science classes, astronomy in particular. clayusmcret hit the nail on the head: Solar activity. I know this is strictly anecdotal, but I live in the South, and almost half a century, I never saw the aurora borealis in the Southern US, except on two separate evenings since the turn of the century, years apart. On those nights, the lights were brilliant, crossing up to half the night sky. A State Trooper with whom I spoke the next day told me he had been driving around looking for a barn on fire, because of the glow. The question is, what kind of an effect has all that extra cosmic radiation, the 'wobble' effect of the earth's rotation and the fluctuation in the elliptical orbit of the earth, along withsunspot activity and temperature fluctuations of the star, had on our weather. If someone could direct me to a scientist/heliographer who has done some extensive research on those topics, I'd be glad to read up on that data!

Of course any climatologist who debunk climate change as "man made" is considered a nut and those who say there is human caused climate change are sane. The Alarmist completely ignore facts that debunk their theory and toss those facts aside. Like the three monkeys: hear no, see no, but they say what they want everyone else to believe. Anthropogenic arrogance? Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.

It's caused by Gory Al's billion dollar fiction friction. The billion bucks that he is about to make on the scam is heating up my temperature, that I can tell you.

Climate change is cyclic and the dire predictions are unfounded when measured over decades. Remember a few years ago our scientists claimed the earth was cooling? Most of the hot air is coming from former VP Al Gore and Dr. Schlesinger.

EZ2c: I am 63 years of age and I well remember the global cooling ice age talk I can recall a TV special on NOVA narated by none other than Leanord Nemoy that had solid factsthat an ice age was on the way. Any warming or cooling is a part of a natural cycle human activity has no effect.

There is no global warming. It makes no scientific sense. The earth is cooling and has been since its' creation. There is climate change, however, that is naturally occurring due to ongoing shifting and adjustments to the tectonic plates, in addition to the normal ongoing realignment of the globe in its' orbit around the sun. The orbit is naturally affected by forces outside of the earth like the moon, comets, meteors, other planets etc. What happened to the brain functions of most of the world? Did we suddenly become brain deaf when the sci-fi loonies came out with their crazy assertions? There are a lot of elitists (royalty wannabees) that set up companies that will financially benefit from taxing the rest of us into servitude. They have enacted a new Spanish Inquisition, we will call it the American Inquisition, that calls the rest of us heretics and losers that do not agree with them. They want to Fine/Tax us to promote their self serving money making and power basing agendas. Yes, we should do our best to be clean living and non-polluters, however, It is time to put a stop to this nonsense. Check the facts and stop following these loonies to the slaughterhouse.

These loonies, Al Gore, GE and others stand to make a lot of money and the Socialist Democrats can get more tax money and complete political control of the country and our economy. POWER over the people! Then we will be the slaves of the state!
