"Bonnard and Vuillard" at the Baltimore Museum of Art sounds like it might sizzle with the bright colors and busy patterns favored by these two French postimpressionists. So it's disappointing to find mostly subdued works on paper in this small, shallow exhibit, which is drawn entirely from the museum's collection.
As technology has broken down barriers of entry to the media, so has it invited new means of deception.

"Son of Rambow" has plenty of universal themes, including unlikely childhood friendships and their byproducts (broadened horizons and mental growth) the unbounded power of youngsters' imaginations, and the memories we all have of a time before we became set in our ways, locked into our schedules and afraid of dreaming too big.
