Last night at Madison Square Garden
SEEN AND HEARD
While they have proven to be even worse defensively this year than they were in 2004-05, the Washington Wizards actually are better offensively.
They went into the game against the Knicks averaging 100.9 points a game, good enough for fourth in the league.
That mostly is because the Wizards again have a trio of players in Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler who are scoring points in bunches. At 63.6 points a game, only the Philadelphia trio of Allen Iverson, Chris Webber and Kyle Korver are scoring more (65.2).
KEY TO THE GAME
The Knicks bridged the third and fourth quarters with a 24-6 run to take a 90-71 lead with a little less than nine minutes left in the game.
