46Points scored by Notre Dame in the first half, just two fewer than the Irish scored for the entire game in a 66-48 beatdown against the Hoyas at Verizon Center on Jan. 6 in the teams’ only regular-season meeting. Notre Dame’s 46 points, aided by 57.1 shooting from 3-point range (8-for-14), gave the Irish a two-point lead at halftime and marked the most Georgetown had given up in a half this season.
1,246Career points for Georgetown junior Jeff Green, moving him up to 20th on the school’s career scoring list. The junior torched the Irish for 30 points, passing Michael Jackson (1,225), Jim Barry (1,226) and Joey Brown (1,237).
