

Tim Lemke has been the sports business reporter for The Washington Times since 2005, writing on a wide variety of issues ranging from the construction of the Washington Nationals new ballpark to steroid hearings on Capitol Hill. He writes a weekly column titled "SportsBiz" and maintains a blog with the same name.
Highlights of his career include playing some very bad tennis with former pro Justin Gimelstob and participating in a roller derby practice with the DC Roller Girls team. You can watch video of the Roller Girls experience here.
Tim joined The Times in 2000 as a general assignment business reporter and has written for the Maryland Daily Record and the Washington Business Journal.
Tim grew up in the Philadelphia area and is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.
