Gordon out for Caps

Boyd Gordon is out of tonight's game. Bruce Boudreau has hinted at his back being the problem. He's had back spasms before.

Keith Aucoin is going in the lineup and centering the third line. David Steckel will move down and be in the middle on the fourth. Tyler Sloan is the odd man out on defense.

Here's the lineup:

Ovechkin-Morrison-Knuble

Laich-Backstrom-Semin

Fehr-Aucoin-Clark (NOTE: Fehr told me today that he played right wing in his first game back but expects to be on the left moving forward)

Laing-Steckel-Bradley

Morrisonn-Green

Poti-Jurcina

Schultz-Pothier

Theodore

Varlamov

Had a bit of a misunderstanding on twitter earlier today -- Bruce Boudreau said Varlamov will play AT SOME POINT in the next three games. Looks like it will be either at home against Nashville or at Atlanta (or both).
