MIAMI -- The Washington Wizards tonight against the Charlotte Bobcats will try to build on an impressive victory over the Miami Heat, and extend their win streak to three games.

     If the Wizards are able to do so, it will mark the first time since April 9, 2008 since Washington has won three games in a row.

     But the Wizards will be taking on an improved Charlotte team that has seen a boost in production since trading for Stephen Jackson six games ago. The Bobcats enter this game with a three-game win streak of their own, having knocked off Cleveland 94-87 last night. Jackson is averaging 18.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists since joining the Bobcats. The player that has benefitted the most from his addition is Gerald Wallace.

     Wallace for the season is averaging 16 points and 11.7 rebounds, but has recorded double-doubles in each of teh last five games and is averaging 19.5 points and 11.5 rebounds since Jackson joined the team.

     This will be the first meeting between Gilbert Arenas and Gerald Wallace since Arenas blew out his knee after Wallace fell into his leg on April 4, 2007.

     The Wizards will again start Arenas, Nick Young, Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison and Brendan Haywood, while Charlotte is expected to start Raymond Felton, Stephen Jackson, Wallace, Boris Diaw and Tyson Chandler.
