The draft evaluation is kicking into high gear for the Redskins and they'll have Southern Cal linebacker Rey Maualuga at Redskin Park Tuesday for what we can assume will be a workout and meeting with the front office  and coaching staff.

Maualuga was a middle linebacker at USC so we're guessing the Redskins are doing their homework and seeing how he would project at strong-side linebacker.

In four years with the Trojans, Maualuga posted seasons of 37, 78, 79 and 79 tackles and intercepted five passes.

The Redskins draft No. 13 overall.

Also on Tuesday, the 2009 NFL schedule will be revealed in a made for TV fiasco on NFL Network (7 p.m.).
